Located at the Hogereind in De Waal. The museum inititially started in 1965 by local horse - enthusiasts to preserve horse-drawn carriages and other artifacts used in the Island's agriculture. Apart from carriages's, farm - implements and tools, the museum contains a working blacksmith's premise where regular demonstrations are given. In summer, trips by horse-drawn wagons are organized by the museum.
As agriculture - to a very high standard - is very important for the Island, the museum decided to increase it's scope to present day agricultural activities, leading to it's present name.
